1. Mikel Obi has been noted to have launched a charity home to help the needy:

According to the data gotten from major news reports; the Nigerian veteran footballer has also been noted to have a soft spot for the less privileged. So much so that he took it upon himself to see to it that a “Home Was Created For The Less Privileged In The Society”.

The “Mikel Obi Foundation” which was launched as far back as 2012 saw to it that they cared for all the needs of the homeless and displaced people in Nigeria; that are within the watchful eyes of their foundation.

2. Mikel Obi has been noted to have donated food items to the needy in Jos during the COVID19 period:

During the COVID19 period in Nigeria, there were reports that the Nigerian superstar took it upon himself to see to it that a good number of families in Jos; whom were finding it difficult to provide enough food for themselves were provided with as enough food as possible.

3. He was once noted to have donated wheel chairs to para-soccer teams in Nigeria:

According to news reports, as of June, 2022, Mikel Obi was also noted to have made a two million cash donation and 5 wheelchairs to two para-soccer teams within Nigeria.

Nonetheless, it’s safe to say that Mikel Obi has done quite a lot of honourable things for Nigerians and I strongly believe that those whom his goodwill may have touched in one way or another will be forever grateful to him.
